TraXX would like to do something a little different in 2023. Instead of one larger gathering of 18XX enthusiasts, as we did in May of 2022, we will host two, smaller events in 2023. Like you, we are concerned about inflation’s effects on all of us. We all feel the impact on our individual discretionary budgets of the higher costs for gasoline, airfares, lodging, food, and other essentials. Ideally, we would love to host an even bigger and better TraXX event in 2023, but for better or for worse, we think that hosting a smaller, more economy-friendly event would be more appropriate this year.
TraXX 2023 will be Thursday, May 4 through Sunday, May 7, 2023
We can’t drive down the price of gasoline, nor can we get the airlines to guarantee a great fare to Denver, but we can manage some other costs. The ticket price for TraXX 2023 will be only $80 per person for the entire 4-day weekend of 18XX gaming and an opportunity to win a door prize. Hotel room costs are only $129 (king bed studio) or only $139 (two queen beds) per night. If you are staying at the hotel, your room nights come with these amenities: free airport shuttle, indoor pool, free WiFi, a fitness center, and a free hot breakfast to get your gaming off to a good start.

Our second event, TraXX 2023 Caboose, will be held November 9 through November 12, 2023. Tickets for the later event will go on sale in the summer of 2023. TraXX 2023 Caboose will be hosted at the Homewood Suites – DIA in Denver, Colorado.

Homewood Suites – DIA has hosted two previous TraXX events and is a fantastic venue, in a nice part of Denver, with great sleeping rooms, a fantastic staff, and lots of food options in the immediate vicinity. In addition, we will have a food truck visit the gathering for lunch. The food truck has been a fun and exciting part of previous TraXX events!

Cancelation Policy
If you cannot attend TraXX please contact us to cancel your ticket on or before April 30 for a full refund.
COVID-19 Policy
TraXX will enforce any public health orders in effect by the City and County of Denver at the time of the event. In the event of a cancelation of the event due to public health orders, TraXX will refund your ticket price.
Code of Conduct
At TraXX we all want to have fun. The best four days of 18XX gaming is based on all of us having a great time together. Here are some guidelines for the convention.
Please follow all convention policies, hotel rules, and staff directions. Remember to eat, sleep, and shower. Make some new friends. Play a lot of games. Respect everyone’s physical, social boundaries, and their personal property.
TraXX is committed to providing a safe environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Harassment or unwelcome conduct, whether verbal, physical, visual, or in any other form, is strictly prohibited. TraXX’s anti-harassment policy applies to all persons involved in the operation or attendance of the convention. TraXX will not tolerate harassment of anyone by anyone, including hosts, participants, or hotel staff.
TraXX defines harassment as any behavior that threatens a person or group or produces an unsafe and non-inclusive environment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments or non-verbal expressions related to ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, age, political affiliation, or religious beliefs.
Please feel safe in reporting any concerns to a member of the TraXX team. TraXX reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the badge of any participant not in compliance with this policy.
